Rewitalizacja

Szanowni Mieszkańcy Miasta i Gminy Gniew, Drodzy Goście odwiedzający nasze miasto!

Rozpoczęliśmy jedną z najważniejszych inwestycji w Gniewie – rewitalizację Starego Miasta, obejmującą gniewski rynek i przyległe do niego średniowieczne uliczki.

Celem naszych działań jest w pierwszej kolejności wymiana sieci wodno-kanalizacyjnych na całym obszarze starego miasta oraz wykonanie sieci ciepłowniczej, która sprawi, że po wielu latach nad Starym Miastem zawita czyste i przejrzyste powietrze.

Drugim etapem naszych działań będzie rewitalizacja tzw. poziomu „0”, czyli nawierzchni, objętych projektem ulic oraz budowa tzw. małej architektury – fontann, rzeźb, miejsc zieleni i wypoczynku oraz innych elementów, które nadadzą Staremu Miastu jedyny, niepowtarzalny charakter.

Nasz projekt zaczynamy w czerwcu 2016 roku a zakończymy jesienią 2018 roku. W międzyczasie odnawiać będziemy dotychczas nieodrestaurowane jeszcze kamienice na rynku i przyległych do niego ulicach.

Ta duża inwestycja wiąże się z wieloma pracami budowalnymi, w tym z wyłączeniem, na czas prowadzonych remontów, poszczególnych pierzei rynku i ulic z bieżącego użytkowania.

Wyrażam jednak nadzieję, że wszelkie niedogodności, na które napotkają Państwo w trakcie procesu rewitalizacji, zostaną zrekompensowane ostatecznym wynikiem naszych prac, w postaci pięknie zrewitalizowanego, oświetlonego Starego Miasta, na którym staną liczne kafejki i miejsca przeznaczone do wypoczynku.

Dear Residents of Gniew, Dear Visitors to our city!

We have started one of the most important investments in Gniew – the revitalization of the Old Town, including Gniew’s market square and the neighbouring medieval streets.

Our goal is first to exchange water and sewerage networks along with the execution of the district heating system through the Old Town. These actions will make, that after many years, fresh air will come into the Old Town.

The second stage of our actions will be the revitalization of the so-called. „0” level, namely, the pavements and streets included in the project as well as the construction of the so-called small architecture: fountains, sculptures, places of greenery and leisure and other elements. All of these will give the Old Town the only and unique character.

Our project is beginning in June 2016  and is going to finish in autumn 2018. In the meantime, we will renew unrestored tenements on the town square and its neighbouring streets.

This large investment is associated with a lot of building work, including the exclusion from its current usage the selected sides of the square and the neighbouring streets, , for the time of conducted repairs.

I hope, however, that any inconvenience which you might face in the process of revitalization, will be compensated by the final result of our work, in the form of a beautifully revitalized and lit Old Town, where numerous cafes and leisure places will appear.
